WELCOME

I am a mom who set out to create the village we hear so much about. Montgomery Texas Moms was born out of my struggle to settle into motherhood and find others at the same place in their lives. Our focus is on connection and local events, including ones focused on moms and ones for littles, and to allow all moms, working, schooling or SAH, to attend.

 

We have an active and growing Facebook group for moms in the Montgomery/MISD area called Montgomery Texas Moms. I also have a personal page under the same name to allow me to post to a larger audience.

I plan to bring the information I already find for myself and my family into one easy to find location.  Things like kids events, mom meet ups, fairs, festivals, craft nights, park play dates, summer camps, VBS, church activities, community events and more will be featured on this page.

In my quest to become the mom I want to be, I’ve fostered a diverse group of friends and acquaintances in the Montgomery area. I’m excited to continue bringing knowledge, ideas and a platform to other local moms and families.

The sense of isolation that comes with motherhood can be lonely and it comes at a time in our life when we are never actually alone. Our goal is to bridge that gap with friendship and fun. Sometimes finding what you need requires stepping outside of your comfort zone. I hope you can connect to something we're about and find your way and your people.
